Improvement never rests

Over-the-air updates are a smooth, convenient way to ensure your Polestar is performing at its best and constantly improving. As well as bug fixes and stability improvements, these updates optimize the car's navigation and infotainment systems and other comfort and convenience functionality such as climate control in the cabin and locking and unlocking the car. Updates for improved charging and driving performance features are also made available over the air.  

How to get updates

When an update is available, a notification is displayed in the car. You simply have to choose a time that's convenient for download and installation. If your Polestar is booked into a service point for maintenance or other work, our technicians will ensure any available updates are made.
