4 year vehicle, 8 year battery, and 12 year corrosion warranty
Polestar includes comprehensive warranties with every Polestar car:
Vehicle warranty: covers any parts that fail due to manufacturing defects with free repairs or replacements at an authorized Polestar Service Point. This warranty covers the first four years after delivery, or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. It is valid regardless of a change in ownership, provided that the Polestar service plan has been followed.
Battery warranty: covers any faults in battery performance or defects in material and workmanship will be resolved free of charge, within 8 years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first. If the battery's State-of-Health (SoH) drops below 70% of its original capacity within the first 8 years of ownership, the battery will be replaced for free.
Corrosion warranty: covers the repair or replacement of affected panel(s) perforated by corrosion at an authorized Polestar service point, free of charge. Coverage lasts for the first 12 years after delivery, regardless of a change in ownership, with possible regional variations.
